My name is John Hopson, and I’m an amateur fencer and scholar.  I have a doctorate in psychology, but no formal training in history.  I can usually be found fencing in the Society for Creative Anachronism under the name Hob Conyers.  I’m also a member of the Tattershall School of Defense.
